As a Business Controller (internally also called Business Operations Advisor), you will be a solid and accessible business partner for the regional management and team leaders of the branches in a specific region. You advise and support management on various business operations issues and form the connecting link between the region and the organization's support services.
You will work with other Business Operations Advisors and the Finance team to ensure careful and efficient use of public funds and demonstrable control. The organization helps children and adults with a language development disorder or hearing impairment to communicate well and develop optimally.
What you do
- Play a central role in periodic management reports.
- Guide the implementation of developments within finance, purchasing, and housing.
- Contribute substantively to policy intentions and decisions and assess them for financial feasibility, among other things.
- Make financial consequences transparent and provide management with clear advice.
- Act as a sparring partner for regional investment issues and test them against established frameworks.
- Contribute to uniformly described processes, appropriately designed systems, and a consistent working method.
What they ask
- Higher professional education (HBO+) or university (WO) level of thinking and working, and a completed relevant financial education.
- Minimum of five years of experience with complex issues related to budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge of the education and/or healthcare sector and associated administrations is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills: understanding details without losing sight of the main lines and coherence.
- An inquisitive, proactive, and service-oriented attitude.
- Communicate easily, enjoy collaborating, and know how to connect people and find solutions.

- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required; application costs will be reimbursed.
