Youth Behavioral Scientist
North HollandHybrid24 hours/week3-6months
You will work from a public sector organization and be deployed to a youth team.
- The focus of the deployment is on conducting analyses of files, case studies, and intervision, as well as work supervision.
- You advise youth consultants and, where possible, join discussions on complex cases.
- The deployment of a behavioral scientist is seen as a valuable addition to the neighborhood team and aligns with the vision of organizing youth care close by and easily accessible.
- The assignment involves ongoing activities and core tasks of the organization.
- You will work side-by-side with permanent staff (behavioral scientists) on-site and receive direct leadership and supervision from the Youth Manager.
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required, in accordance with the organization's screening process.
What you do
- Advising youth consultants and other colleagues, both solicited and unsolicited, in complex cases.
- Participating in intervision, case discussions, and reporting on progress.
- Conducting timeline research and analyses.
- Collaborating with general practitioners, youth consultants, neighborhood team members, and youth care providers.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of the deployment (in collaboration with the policy advisor and quality officer).
- Work supervision.
What they ask
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of WO bachelor level in Psychology, Pedagogical Sciences, or Social Science.
- Demonstrably in possession of an SKJ and/or BIG registration as a Behavioral Scientist; the registration number must be explicitly stated.
Preferences.
- Demonstrably completed education at WO master level.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a behavioral scientist.
- Demonstrable work experience with youth protection, youth care, juvenile delinquency, and divorce issues.
- Demonstrable work experience with LVB (mild intellectual disability), ASS (autism spectrum disorder), and ADHD issues.
