You will work within the Finance & Risk data organization of a large Dutch bank. A loan tape delivery at the bank depends on people who do not report to each other (business, data, and IT), spread across several teams, working towards one program roadmap. A virtual team has been set up, and a senior person is needed to make it run. You will not manage anyone. You will be the person who knows what is stuck, who owns it, and what decisions need to be made by when.
What you do
- Get one delivery plan agreed: including requirements, dependencies, milestones, and a name next to each
- Keep a live overview of open issues, risks, and the decisions people owe you
- Set the priorities against the program's milestones, which means some teams will hear "not yet"
- When something is blocked between two teams, go and unblock it. If you cannot, escalate it
What they ask
- Senior experience on complex data, regulatory, or transformation programs, at a bank
- Delivery you coordinated across team boundaries without line authority, and you can tell what nearly went wrong
- You are as credible with the business as you are with data people and IT
- Loan-level or regulatory data experience is a real plus, and so is a Dutch bank on your CV
- HBO or university level education
- Good English proficiency. The CV should be in English
Practical
- You live in the Netherlands and already have the right to work here. Visa sponsorship is not possible
- You will be screened by the client and the bank before you start
