A secondment agency is looking for a Material Planner for a large organization. You will be responsible for optimizing material flows, inventory management, and production planning. You will monitor material availability and analyze inventory levels to prevent production interruptions.
What you will do.
- Material Planning: Plan and optimize material requirements to ensure production continuity.
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels, calculate optimal safety stocks, and align supply and demand.
- Process Improvement: Initiate and lead improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and optimizing material flows and work processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data and KPIs, prepare reports, and use insights to identify bottlenecks and support decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, and quality departments.
What they ask
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Material Planner.
- Experience in the Food Industry.
- Extensive experience with inventory management.
- Extensive knowledge of forecasting and demand planning.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
