You will work for a reception organization that accommodates and guides asylum seekers. The organization provides basic facilities and support for their future in the Netherlands or abroad. The organization is dynamic and values human dignity, collaboration, openness, and results-orientation, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
What you will do.
- Conduct individual conversations with residents.
- Provide tailor-made training sessions.
- Organize information meetings.
- Empower residents so they can actively work on their future.
- Encourage active and meaningful daily activities and participation in society.
- Guidance depends on the phase of the procedure the residents are in.

- Good ability to communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Legal Services, or possession of a teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching or providing (individual) methodical guidance.
- Flexible availability between 08:00 and 22:00, including weekend shifts.
Practical
- You will work at one of the organization's reception locations.
- You will work in a team with various colleagues such as residential counselors and case managers.
- The team size varies from 15 to 40 colleagues, depending on the size of the location.
- A pre-employment screening will be conducted upon an offer, including a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) application, diploma and certificate verification, and identity check.
