This assignment involves supporting the evolution of business applications within the ecosystem of an energy sector organization, including digital platforms, ERP solutions, mobile and web applications connected through web services. The consultant will be responsible for business and functional analysis, solution design, test coordination, quality assurance, incident analysis, application support, and collaboration with both business stakeholders and development teams.
The role covers the full application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and operational support.
What you will do.
- Analyze business requirements and needs
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders
- Propose and validate functional solutions with the business
- Define solutions aligned with the IT architecture and end-to-end application landscape
- Act as the liaison between business teams and development partners
- Produce and maintain functional analysis and design documentation
- Follow the development lifecycle
- Perform requirements and functional analysis using established methodologies and tools
- Use UML and Enterprise Architect for analysis activities
- Review technical solutions proposed by development partners
- Ensure the quality of development deliverables
- Manage and coordinate testing activities
- Participate in implementation activities
- Maintain reference documentation
- Coordinate, develop and execute test plans
- Ensure applications meet production quality expectations
- Co-manage applications together with developers
- Analyze, document and follow up defects and bugs
- Support incident and problem management activities
- Provide second-line support
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
- Proven experience in requirements analysis
- Functional design experience
- ISTQB certification
- Proven experience coordinating testing across business users, functional analysts, developers, and project managers
- Proven experience designing test scenarios
- Proven experience executing test scenarios
- Minimum 5 years of experience in E2E testing and test coordination
- Minimum 5 years of experience with MIG/UMIG processes in the energy market
- Fluent French with a good knowledge of Dutch, or fluent Dutch with a good knowledge of French
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT
