As an Asset Manager for Roads and Public Lighting, you are responsible for the strategic and tactical management of all municipal road surfaces and related assets within a government organization.
- You are the linchpin in road management, translating policy objectives into actionable management and maintenance programs.
- Based on asset management principles, you develop management plans, multi-year maintenance schedules, and investment programs, balancing performance, risks, costs, and sustainability.
- Additionally, you advise the board, management, and colleagues, act as a client for replacement projects, and collaborate closely with residents, utility companies, and other external partners to ensure a future-proof road network.

What they ask
- Completed HBO or university degree, for example in Civil Engineering, Built Environment, Asset Management, or a comparable field.
- Experience with the management of roads or other infrastructural assets.
- Knowledge of asset management (preferably compliant with ISO 55000), road management, and relevant laws and regulations.
Preferences.
- Experience with management systems such as Geovisia or comparable software.
- Experience with asset management within a municipality.
