A government organization is looking for a Civil Administrator/Supervisor to ensure smooth paving and safe sewerage in a heavily used urban area. You will combine outdoor inspections of civil engineering objects with internal management. You will be the eyes and ears of the organization and work with contract partners to guarantee the quality of roads, cycle paths, and sewers for the residents.
What you will do.
- Supervision & Management: Fixed point of contact for executing contractors. Inspecting the outdoor space, checking quality based on RAW specifications and CROW visual quality standards, and making immediate adjustments where necessary.
- Incident Management: Co-responsible for the smooth and customer-oriented handling of reports from citizens and businesses, including written or oral feedback.
- Broad Advisory Role: Assessing new construction plans for civil engineering feasibility and handling access permits and insurance matters.
- On-call Duty: Participating in the on-call system to quickly and professionally resolve emergencies in the outdoor space.

- Minimum of a completed, relevant MBO education (level 4), preferably with HBO working and thinking level.
- Some experience in the civil technical management of public spaces (e.g., as a superintendent, supervisor, or administrator at a government agency or contractor).
- Demonstrable knowledge of the RAW and CROW systems (or the motivation and eagerness to learn this quickly).
- Good digital skills for administrative processing in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
- A valid B driving license and a personal car for fieldwork.
