Aircraft Mechanic
As a civilian employee within a defense organization, you contribute to peace and security with your specialization. You work together in a team of military personnel, reservists, and other civilian employees. The advanced (combat) helicopters and aircraft of the organization are operational day and night, in all weather conditions. It is very important that the aircraft are in perfect condition. You will work at one of the organization's maintenance or training squadrons.
What you will do.
- Responsible for the maintenance of various aircraft types
- Analyze complaints
- Repair or replace components
- Test systems after repair
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Conduct overhauls to make aircraft operational again after flight hours
What they ask
- Completed MBO-3 or 4 diploma in aircraft technology B1 or B2
- Relevant work experience or internship experience within the aviation sector
- Good verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and English
- Eye for detail and accurate work according to applicable regulations
- Sense of responsibility and striving for the best results
- Team player with good communication skills
Practical
- A security investigation and reference check (upon request) are part of the selection procedure
- An assessment may be part of the selection procedure
- You must possess Dutch nationality
