Information Manager

A social organization helps residents regain control over their finances. Over 150 colleagues work daily to alleviate concerns and create opportunities. The organization is characterized by a flat structure, short communication lines, and a focus on reliability, agility, and future-orientation.

What you will do. As an information manager, you are responsible for the reliable, complete, and sustainable management of digital and physical archives. You oversee the correct registration, accessibility, and quality of information and support colleagues in applying the information policy. You contribute to efficient, transparent, and future-proof information provision within the organization.

Your activities will include:

  • Classifying, registering, and disclosing digital and physical documents and data
  • Checking scanned and registered documents for completeness, accuracy
  • Performing (sample-based) quality controls on recorded data and processes in information systems
  • Ensuring and supervising the removal, destruction, and (future) transfer of archival records to the e-depot
  • Supporting employees in information management and the use of registration systems
  • Drawing up and updating work instructions and management procedures for the DIV department
  • Advising on the design, implementation, and improvement of information systems
  • Guiding change processes
  • Testing systems after releases or upon the introduction of new applications and identifying bottlenecks
  • Reporting on quality, scanning, registration, and archiving to the process owner
  • Managing the semi-static archive, including placement administration, loans
  • Preparing and executing the destruction of archival records in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Maintaining contacts with archival repositories and ensuring the transfer of permanently preserved files

  • MBO working and thinking level, supplemented with specific knowledge of information and archive management
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of information management and archiving
  • Affinity with digital information systems and administrative processes
  • Accuracy, analytical skills, and a sense of responsibility
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented, supportive attitude

Desirable.

  • Experience in a similar position, preferably within a public or social organization
  • Experience with digital archive systems and e-depot facilities
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and think in terms of solutions
  • Skill in drawing up work instructions and guiding colleagues in work processes
