This assignment focuses on the mental well-being of children, young people, and their families within a specialized care organization. You contribute to early diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and creating future prospects for young clients. The team works according to the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) methodology, aimed at the treatment and guidance of young people with complex psychiatric vulnerabilities.
The approach is flexible and recovery-oriented, with the goal of optimizing clients' well-being, reducing symptoms, and teaching them to cope with their vulnerability. Guidance takes place in all areas of life, often outreach in the client's living environment.
What you do
- You are part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and work under the direct supervision of a psychiatrist.
- You make a significant contribution to the treatment and socio-economic development of young adults.
- You share responsibility for intakes, psychiatric examinations, and treatments.
- You perform acute psychiatric assessments in crisis situations, in collaboration with colleagues.
- You assess requests for or provide compulsory care.
- You perform pharmacotherapy and somatic examinations.
- You manage your own caseload, provide medication guidance, and offer supportive-structuring treatments (individual and systemic).
- You maintain contact with stakeholders and chain partners.
