The assignment involves guiding young people aged 13 to 18 who have experienced a lot. They need structure and regularity. The guidance is provided 24/7, aimed at preparing these young people for independent living, whether in a reception center, their country of origin, or their own home.
What you do
- You regularly conduct mentor interviews with the young people as a dedicated supervisor.
- You maintain contact with external organizations and aid workers, such as guardians, schools, and general practitioners.
- You ensure a safe and livable residential environment.
- You are a visible point of contact for the young people.
- You collaborate closely with colleagues in a team and participate in meetings and intervision discussions to ensure quality.
What they ask
- You have an HBO diploma (e.g., Social Work, Social Work and Services, SPH, pedagogy, or applied psychology) OR a relevant MBO diploma combined with an SKJ registration.
- You are SKJ registered or have the possibility to register in the short term.
- You are available for day, evening, night (night shifts are wake-up shifts), and weekend services.
- You always work with at least one other colleague.
Preferences.
- Work experience in youth care, mental health care, within a care institution, and/or welfare work.
Personality.

Practical
You will work at one of the reception locations. The size of the reception locations and the number of young people vary. A team consists of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential counselors, and behavioral experts.
