Coalition Coordinator with Event Expertise

You will work for a regional network organization that brings together leaders from businesses, governments, knowledge, and social institutions to build a future-proof economy. The mission is to work through public-private partnerships in coalitions towards sustainable earning capacity, resilience, and broad prosperity in the region, focusing on themes such as Tech & AI, Life Sciences & Health, and Energy & Industry.

What you will do.

  • Support collaboration within partner coalitions on one of the three themes (starting with Tech & AI).
  • Organize events for the management.
  • Act as an advisor and coach for other coalition coordinators in event management.
  • Work closely with coalition managers, fellow coordinators, and the entire team.

Tasks and responsibilities.

  • Be a sparring partner for the coalition manager and support them in bringing together active partners.
  • Work on the organization, planning, coordination, programming, and monitoring of activities, such as events, meetings, and (online) communication.
  • Together with your coalition manager, monitor the process to achieve the best results, including creating schedules and monitoring decision and action lists.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing a strategic plan to make collaborations and activities successful.
  • Develop a communication plan for activities within your theme.
  • Develop text and visual material for news items, presentations, invitations, brochures, and websites.
  • Facilitate meetings in consultation with your coalition manager.

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to process complex language into understandable, attractive text.
  • Analytical skills to plan, organize, execute in a structured manner, and monitor supporting tasks.
  • Experience in organizing events and meetings.
  • Experience in independently maintaining and activating networks and relationships.
  • Proactive and inviting communication with partners at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to draw up feasible action plans and proactively signal progress.
  • Eagerness to contribute improvements and new ideas and to be alert to opportunities and solutions.
