We are looking for experienced project professionals for various leading organizations. You will take the lead in technical engineering and investment projects: from equipment, process installations, and utilities to expansions and technical modifications. You will be involved from the sales or concept phase and, together with the organization and the project team, ensure successful realization, up to commissioning and delivery.
You will be the connecting factor between the organization, engineering, suppliers, and internal teams, monitoring scope, planning, budget, risks, and quality. The organizations continuously invest in technical projects and often expect to quickly find the right consultants for their teams. That is why we are deliberately building a network of project managers that we can quickly match with suitable requests. The organizations are mainly active in industry, pharma, high-tech, energy, and production environments.
What you will do.
- You will take ownership of projects from the concept/sales phase to delivery and commissioning.
- You will align scope, expectations, and approach with the organization and internal stakeholders.
- You will organize and coordinate the multidisciplinary project team and manage engineers and external partners.
- You will monitor planning, milestones, budget, and cost-to-come, and report on these to management and steering committees.
- You will identify project risks and contribute to mitigation plans.
- You will organize project reviews, acceptance tests, and other important project moments with the organization.
- You will monitor the quality and progress of project documentation.
- You will support the transition to commissioning and start-up.
- You will continuously look for ways to improve project management and collaboration.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or equivalent by experience.
- At least several years of experience as a Project Manager within a technical or industrial environment.
- Experience within pharma, food, chemistry, or process industry.
- You can lead, motivate, and connect technical teams, even without formal hierarchical responsibility.
- You build trust with organizations and are a strong discussion partner at various levels.
- You are analytical, pragmatic, and strong in planning, communication, and stakeholder management.
- You work smoothly with MS Office; knowledge of various project planning tools is a plus.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English.
- French is a plus, but not a must.
- Willingness to travel internationally to a limited extent is a plus, depending on the project.
