As a VTH policy advisor, you work within the broad domain of permitting, supervision, and enforcement. It is a challenging and versatile role in which you are involved in all three components of the VTH process. You identify what is needed, take initiative, and ensure that policy is not only correct on paper but also feasible and aligned with practice.
What you will do.
- Responsible for all components of the operational policy cycle and inter-administrative supervision in the VTH domain.
- Translates changes in national legislation and local regulations into local policy.
- Ensures that policy is implemented in implementation programs, an annual report, and programs.
- Makes policy operational by proposing measures that fit current projects and developments.
- Plays an important role in securing signals and feedback from implementation practice.
- Brings bottlenecks and developments to attention and onto the administrative and political agenda.
- Analyzes, connects involved parties, and converts improvements into concrete actions and policy.
