This assignment is with a leading jazz venue in the Netherlands, which annually organizes approximately 150 concerts featuring national and international artists. The musical content is broad and varied, ranging from modern jazz to combinations with other genres. The organization also functions as a production house for special musical projects and collaborates with various venues and festivals.
What you do
- Devise and launch online and offline promotional campaigns
- Maintain contact with the current audience and reach new target groups
- Write and send newsletters, press releases, and other communications
- Approach the press
- Keep the website up-to-date
- Content creation and social media management
- Generate publicity for the venue, concerts, and activities as a production house
What they ask
- Strong passion for both communication and music
- Affinity with jazz (in the broadest sense of the word) is a plus
- Willingness to attend concerts as part of the job
- Experience in writing texts
- Experience in setting up (online) marketing and media campaigns
- Strategic thinking ability and a hands-on mentality
Practical
- Part of a relatively small, dynamic organization
- Much freedom in the execution of tasks
- Collaboration with the head programmer
- Possibility of a self-employed (ZZP) agreement
