You will be working for a family business and European market leader in frozen bread and pastry products. The organization has approximately 5,000 employees in 12 countries. The factory where you will work specializes in the production of frozen cakes and sheet cakes. Due to growing demand, the factory is expanding from two to three shifts, offering ample opportunities for development.
What you do
As an operator, you are at the core of the production of frozen cakes and sheet cakes. You will work with your team in a 3-shift system.
- You start your shift with a handover from your colleague, reviewing stocks, planning, and specific details
- You prepare dough types, operate the machines, and/or pack the finished products
- You monitor the process to ensure it runs smoothly and keep track of various measurements
- You identify malfunctions, report them to the shift leader, and actively contribute to solutions
- You monitor quality standards and ensure everything is refilled on time and according to schedule
- You perform tidying and cleaning tasks and ensure a proper handover at the end of the shift
This involves physical, varied work where you are actively involved on the production line.
What they ask
- You have a technical background, gained through experience and/or a relevant MBO technical education (level 3), preferably in food
- You have an affinity with the food industry; bakery experience is a plus
- You are proactive, flexible, eager to learn, and quality-conscious, with problem-solving skills
- You have a good command of the Dutch language (excellent English is acceptable, provided you can follow Dutch forms)
- You are willing to work in a 3-shift system and are not deterred by physical work
- You are looking for a long-term workplace where you can further develop yourself
