Residential Counselor

• Guide participants towards set goals, in line with recovery plans.
• Develop skills for independent living and household tasks.
• Increase self-reliance in areas such as substance use and self-care.
• Stimulate social participation through social contacts and meaningful daily activities.
• Provide assistance with basic care tasks, such as personal hygiene.
• Offer input and advice to colleagues.
• Activate participants for outdoor activities, such as walks or errands.

What they ask

• Completed relevant MBO4 education (e.g., Social Work, MMZ, Personal Counselor, SPW, Nursing, etc.) or near completion.
• Value for forging personal connections and a friendly attitude.
• Strong personality, able to work independently and collaboratively in a driven team.
• Willingness to work irregular shifts.
• A Christian background and the willingness to discuss its meaning.
• Ability to travel independently, as the location is less accessible by public transport.

• You will work in a multidisciplinary team including case managers, nurses, and counselors.
• The team supports approximately 29 participants in a residential facility.
• There is room for personal initiative and talent development in extracurricular activities.
• You enjoy a high degree of autonomy within defined frameworks.
• A thorough onboarding process with a "buddy" is provided.
