As a Dutch teacher at a secondary education institution, you help students discover that language is much more than spelling and grammar. With enthusiasm, you bring stories to life and encourage critical thinking.
What you do
- You ensure variety, challenge, and engagement in lessons.
- You create a safe atmosphere where students dare to ask questions and are allowed to make mistakes.
- You take the time to explain material clearly and build confidence in students who need extra help.
- You encourage students to debate, write creatively, and think critically about the world around them.
Profile
- You are energized by teaching and possess didactic and pedagogical skills.
- You hold (or are close to obtaining) a 2nd-degree qualification in Dutch.
- You have demonstrable knowledge of and affinity with the Dutch language subject and teaching within secondary education.
- You motivate and guide students to achieve their goals.
Practical
- You will work in an interdenominational school community that offers all forms of education.
- Opportunities for professional development and knowledge exchange with colleagues are available.
- You will work in a positive and collegial work environment.
