An organization is looking for a Lean professional to contribute to the rollout of its Lean Operating Model. You will work with a team of colleagues to bring the organization to World-Class Lean Six-sigma Maturity. You will do this by acting as an objective, results-oriented leader who critically examines the chain, provides support for performance issues, and seizes opportunities through Lean Six Sigma expertise and multidisciplinary connection.
The role involves moving people within the organization and implementing structural solutions that deliver financial results. You will be part of a core team of the Value Stream and support functional departments in improvement initiatives. The organization is a recognized, first-class specialist in the design, development, and production of lightweight structures, with a high-tech production environment and a down-to-earth, practical culture.
What you will do.
- Deliver significant operational performance improvements by independently initiating, analyzing, and simultaneously leading multiple Continuous Improvement projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Roll out standards in the field of Lean and Problem Solving, including Process mapping, 5S, Daily Management, Valuestream Mapping, A3/DRIVE problem solving, and Total Productive Maintenance.
- Train and coach colleagues in Lean methods.
- Guide and monitor Kaizens and projects of group leaders and team leaders for realizing improvements in the Value Stream.
- Help translate strategy into concrete projects and annual plans.
- Independently prepare and facilitate workshops, events, and value stream mapping.
- Be the conscience of the value stream and challenge and influence leaders.
What they ask
- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Lean (Six Sigma) Black Belt is a plus, ambition to achieve this is a must.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading complex improvement projects.
- Demonstrable knowledge of DM, problem solving, VSD, running events, and process improvement.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
