What you do
- Temporarily assume ultimate responsibility for a team of approximately 20-25 employees, consisting of experienced and junior professionals
- Provide direct leadership to the team, without an intermediate management layer
- Ensure the daily functioning of the department in terms of people, planning, quality, progress
- Manage the team's planning and throughput, ensuring alignment of capacity, activities
- Adjust in a timely manner when results or agreements are under pressure
- Collaborate intensively with departments such as Logistics, Purchasing, and Work Preparation
- Report directly to management
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, collaboration, and management on the shop floor
- Propose and implement improvements, in consultation

- Experience in leading a team in a technical assembly or machine building environment
- Ability to connect with technical professionals
- Understanding of leading skilled professionals with specific expertise
- Visible on the shop floor, listening, and building trust
- Able to address people, clarify expectations, and make decisions
- A firm, results-oriented approach without a dominant or distant management style
