Industrialization Engineer
The challenge is to double annual production by optimizing existing production lines. As an Industrialization Engineer, you will work on five production lines with significant room for improvement. You will use Lean principles to address bottlenecks and optimize and validate testing systems. This will lead to more products, consistent quality, and shorter lead times. You will join a technical production company that develops and produces delivery sets and energy solutions.
The focus is on improving existing lines, production processes, and testing methods to drive production growth.
What you do
Together with a colleague, you will improve the production of delivery sets for energy supply. The main gain lies in optimally utilizing existing lines by:
- More efficiently arranging the five production lines, with the goal of doubling annual production
- Applying Lean to reduce waste and improve flow
- Analyzing production data and addressing structural bottlenecks and disruptions
- Optimizing and validating the self-developed testing systems
- Improving 'first time right' and shortening lead times
- Ensuring reliable test results, data storage
- Setting up and guiding improvement projects, including planning and progress
- Supporting production, so that employees build units according to established working methods
What they ask
- A completed HBO degree, for example in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with production or process improvement within a technical production environment
- A practical, analytical approach: substantiating improvements with data and ensuring they work on the shop floor
- Interest in Lean and continuous improvement of production processes
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English
