Communication Advisor

Do you want to contribute to strengthening trust in a government organization through sharp communication? In this versatile role, you will work on impactful and reputation-sensitive projects – from refining the corporate story to developing a new corporate website – where your strategic insight and advisory skills will deliver directly visible results.

What you will do.

• You will contribute, mostly on a project basis, to the Directorate's focus points, as laid down in the annual plan and Vision.
• Concrete projects include refining the corporate story and the action plan for a new corporate website.
• You will be responsible for the communication approach of complex, but defined projects, with a higher risk of failure. You will start from an existing communication need.
• You will translate organizational issues into an appropriate communication strategy.
• You will create and execute communication plans, including drafting key messages and the media and communication tools mix.
• You will look for the question behind the question.
• The Corporate & External Communication team contributes to strengthening trust among citizens and stakeholders in the organization.
• The team has experts in reputation, stakeholder management, issue management, PR, external communication, and campaigns.

What they ask

• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, demonstrable through a completed HBO degree and/or at least 6 years of experience as a communication advisor or similar.
• At least 6 years of experience with corporate and external communication and various instruments and methodologies.
• Demonstrable experience with at least 1 communication project with an increased risk of failure (e.g., reputation-sensitive, political-administrative).
