Team Manager Physical and Social Domain

An association of municipalities is looking for a team manager for the Physical and Social Domain teams.

• The organization aims to develop a more cohesive and integrated approach to programs, projects, policy development, and implementation.
• The team manager contributes to the transition to a more task-oriented way of working, in line with the organization's development.
• During a period of organizational development and collaboration with other units, the team manager can fulfill a limited pioneering role, focused on continuity, alignment, and strengthening collaboration.

What you will do.

• Lead engaged and expert teams dedicated to the physical and social living environment of the participating municipalities.
• Promote integral collaboration of the teams within and outside the physical and social domains, ensuring the board is well-advised.
• Create a safe and inspiring work environment where colleagues can grow and collaborate.
• Be responsible for programming, prioritization, planning, work processes, and resources.
• Maintain an overview and ensure that the preconditions are met.
• Set realistic goals together with the teams and actively steer towards achieving them.
• Reflect on what is going well and what needs extra attention, demonstrating self-reflection and coaching employees to reflect on their own actions.
• Collaborate with program coordinators on substantive cooperation with various partner organizations.

• Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of WO bachelor level.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a team manager within a municipality or a joint arrangement.
• Demonstrable work experience with programmatic work, specifically mentioned in the CV with 1 reference and a written assignment.
• Demonstrable work experience within supra-regional collaboration.
• Agreement to use own mobile device (BYOD); a laptop will be provided by the client.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of WO bachelor level in the field of public administration.
• Demonstrable work experience within the region of the association (municipalities, joint arrangement, or government organizations).
• Minimum of 2 demonstrable references mentioned with function and name.
• A self-written motivation by the candidate clearly stating why this assignment is suitable for them.
• Work experience as a team manager within a municipality, joint arrangement, or a government organization: 3 to 5 years or 5 years or more.
