What you will do. As an Absenteeism Case Manager, you will be the director of the absenteeism process. You monitor the progress of files, advise employers, and encourage employees towards a sustainable return to work. Your tasks will include:
- Guiding and monitoring absenteeism trajectories of employees.
- Determining the right course within the absenteeism process, together with employers and employees.
- Implementing and monitoring appropriate interventions to promote recovery.
- Advising employers on social security, claims management, and absenteeism issues.
- Maintaining contact with employees and motivating and activating them during the reintegration process.
- Identifying stagnation and discussing difficult situations when necessary.
- Collaborating with company doctors, occupational experts, and other involved professionals.
- Coordinating with reintegration coaches and determining when additional guidance is desirable.
- Carefully maintaining files and monitoring legal deadlines and administrative processes.
Profile
You are at the beginning of your career and want to develop yourself within the field of absenteeism. You are a strong communicator, know how to maintain an overview, and dare to take responsibility. Additionally, you possess:
- A completed HBO bachelor's degree (higher professional education).
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience in a business environment, for example within HR, absenteeism, or the flex industry.
- The willingness to follow and successfully complete the HBO-accredited courses "Regie op Verzuim" (Management of Absenteeism) and "Regie op Ziektewet" (Management of Sickness Benefits Act).
- A proactive work attitude and the ability to set priorities.
- Empathy combined with a critical and analytical perspective.
- Accuracy and stress resistance, even when work pressure increases.
- The ambition to further develop yourself within case management.
Practical aspects.
- A gross monthly salary between € 2,754 and € 3,132 based on a full-time employment.
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- An annual bonus scheme of up to 8% of the gross annual salary.
