A leading organization is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with various business units to translate learning needs and identified competency gaps into impactful and targeted learning solutions. You will contribute to employee development by designing and implementing quality learning paths that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
You will combine didactic expertise with a pragmatic approach and ensure that learning initiatives are sustainable, scalable, and relevant. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, content experts, and internal and external learning partners to ensure the quality and effectiveness of learning solutions.
Your responsibilities.
- Design, develop, and implement blended learning paths, including classroom training and e-learning, tailored to the priorities of technical business units.
- Translate learning needs and competency analyses into concrete learning objectives and structured learning paths.
- Determine the most suitable learning formats, with attention to developing new content and reusing existing training materials.
- Integrate internal and external learning solutions where relevant.
- Monitor the didactic quality, coherence, and participant engagement within the various learning paths.
- Track learning progress, completion rates, and training results.
- Contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between local learning initiatives and the group-wide training offering, aiming to avoid overlap and fragmentation.
- Bridge the gap between strategic objectives and the practical implementation of learning and development initiatives.
Profile
- More than 7 years of experience in designing effective learning paths using a blended learning approach.
- Experience with various learning formats, such as classroom training, digital learning, microlearning, and mobile learning.
- Thorough knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience managing them, for example, SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong didactic and instructional design skills for both classroom and digital learning solutions.
- Combines knowledge of learning & development with skills in project management, communication, and change management.
- Passionate about learning and development and strives for high internal customer satisfaction.
- Enjoys collaborating with business stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners and easily builds trusting relationships.
- Dares to critically question existing needs and business requirements to achieve solutions with greater impact.
- Organized, sets the right priorities, and works in a results-oriented manner.
- Experience within large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable at both strategic and operational levels.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

- Candidates who do not have EU nationality must possess a valid work permit allowing them to work in Belgium and a valid residence permit confirming their right of residence in Belgium.
