What you do
As an Occupational Physician, you will look beyond just the absenteeism file. You will assess the medical situation and capabilities of the employee, translating this into appropriate and practical advice.
- Conducting consultations and assessing the work capacity of employees
- Advising on return to work and reintegration
- Guiding employees during their period of absenteeism
- Advising employers and managers on absenteeism and employability
- Identifying opportunities in the field of prevention
- Collaborating with case managers and other experts
- Contributing to discussions on complex absenteeism issues
- Contributing to good medical and substantive service delivery
Profile
- You are a registered occupational physician, or you are a physician looking to develop in occupational health
- You have an interest in the combination of people, work
- You communicate easily with both employees and employers
- You can make independent decisions and take responsibility
- You are curious and enjoy continuously developing yourself professionally
- You work diligently and have an eye for both the medical and organizational aspects of absenteeism
