For an organization, we are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer with hands-on knowledge of Check Point firewalling. You will join a dynamic environment where you work independently on projects and more complex management and support issues. You will translate technical and client issues into a secure, stable, and well-managed network infrastructure, working closely with the SOC, the management team, and the service desk.
What you do
- Set up, manage, and optimize network environments
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls
- Manage VLANs, VPNs, routing
- Analyze and resolve complex network and security incidents
- Handle 2nd and 3rd line issues
- Perform changes, maintenance
What they ask
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience as a Network Engineer, Network Security Engineer
- Proven hands-on experience with Check Point firewalling
- Solid knowledge of routing and switching, VLANs
- Independent, strong communication skills
- MBO+/HBO (vocational/higher professional education) work and thinking level
Preferences.
- Experience with WatchGuard, Sophos, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and/or Microsoft Azure networking
- Experience within an MSP or enterprise environment
