Policy Officer Culture & Subsidies

This assignment is to replace a permanent employee to ensure the continuity of ongoing subsidy and decision-making processes within a government organization.

What you will do.

• Prepare and minute periodic meetings as secretary of a committee.
• Coordinate and follow up on action points.
• Achieve a legally and administratively correct decision-making process for the withdrawal of a specific regulation.
• Timely and accurate processing of subsidies for the upcoming year in the systems, based on issued decisions.
• Process ongoing subsidy grants and determinations.
• Ensure continuity in the maintenance of municipal artworks.
• Smooth coordination with an association supporter from a regional organization.
• Timely administrative coordination for ongoing dossiers.
• Provide ad-hoc support for other urgent components within the Culture & Events cluster.

What they ask

• Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a policy officer or policy implementer within a municipal organization.
• Demonstrable work experience as a secretary.
• Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of mbo4 level.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable work experience with municipal subsidy processes (granting, determination, and decisions) and drafting administrative decisions.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience as a secretary within an administrative environment.
• Demonstrable work experience as a policy officer and/or secretary within the policy domain of Art & Culture at a local government.
• Demonstrable work experience with the management and maintenance of artworks and coordination with external social partners such as welfare or sports associations.
