You will be part of a multidisciplinary, outreach team that provides family treatment in the home situation. The focus is on families with psychiatric and/or psychosocial problems in parent(s) and/or child(ren) (0-18 years). Involving next of kin/family members is a natural part of the treatment.
What you will do.
- Implement the treatment plan under the responsibility of a lead therapist
- Improve relationships within the family and with the environment
- Offer support in finding solutions for practical problems
What they ask
- Enthusiastic therapist with experience in treating young people and families
- Minimum of two years of relevant post-master work experience
- Knowledge of both child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry
- In possession of a LOGO statement or BAPD (or one of the alternative statements/notes) and SKJ registration
- Affinity with cognitive behavioral therapy and a VGCt registration are a plus
- Treat in a solution-oriented and evidence-based manner
- Have an eye for the unique dynamics within families and know how to address both individual and family-oriented needs
- Good interpersonal skills, flexible, and able to handle stressful situations
