The role involves guiding patients with a holistic view of their health, paying attention to both physical health and lifestyle.

What you will do.

Hold consultations for preventive medicine.
Map the patient's health based on a targeted physical examination, a comprehensive lifestyle questionnaire, and an analysis of relevant health risks.
Formulate well-founded, personal advice that contributes to the long-term maintenance and improvement of health.
Have an interest in insurance medical examinations.
Perform targeted physical examinations and inquire about relevant lifestyle aspects, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and other health habits.
Identify potential health risks and formulate personal, scientifically substantiated advice on prevention and health promotion.
Discuss with the patient how lifestyle adjustments can contribute to better health and the prevention of future health problems.
Ensure correct reporting and good information flow to the general practitioner and any other involved healthcare providers.
Be part of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
Hold consultations for at least half a day per week.

Profile

You are a physician with a strong interest in preventive medicine and health promotion.
You look beyond the individual complaint and approach the patient from a broad vision of health, considering physical health, lifestyle, and personal risk factors together.
You have an interest in performing preventive medical examinations and translating findings into concrete, achievable advice tailored to the patient.
You communicate clearly, empathetically, and motivatingly, and know how to encourage patients to actively work on their health.
You have an interest in insurance medical examinations or are motivated to develop further in this area.
You work independently, accurately, and evidence-based, with attention to the individual needs of the patient.
You value good cooperation with colleagues and support services.
A good knowledge of Dutch, French, and English is necessary.
