You will join a specialized builder of luxury motor yachts for clients worldwide. Here, no standard product is mass-produced. Various technical disciplines collaborate to build each yacht from hull to finished product. Your panels form an important part of the onboard technology. From the workshop, you will see how electrical engineering, propulsion, hydraulics, and other systems ultimately come together in one complete yacht.
Therefore, you are not just working on a control cabinet; you know exactly which yacht you are building the panel for and where your work will ultimately be applied.
What you will do. As a Panel Builder, you will construct the control cabinets that manage important systems on board luxury motor yachts. You will start with a technical drawing and a collection of components, delivering a fully wired and tested panel. Your work revolves around accuracy. Every wire, connection, and component must be in the correct place before the panel is installed on board.
- Build and wire control panels from scratch
- Mount relays, switches, and other electrotechnical components
- Connect wiring according to electrical diagrams
- Measure, check, and prepare panels for installation
- Coordinate technical questions with engineers and technicians
Profile
- MBO degree in electrical engineering or comparable level
- Experience with panel building is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
- Ability to wire and assemble accurately
- Ability to work independently and identify technical deviations
- Willingness to travel to the work location
