Wat je doet
- Conduct advisory and registration interviews
- Determine if there is a problematic debt situation
- Map the resident's spending and debt patterns and identify possible problems and causes
- Investigate eligibility for national and local provisions
- Stabilize residents' financial situations
- Carry out the intake phase and debt settlements
- Draft and send decisions through decrees
- Prepare action plans and reports
- Arrange internal registration and coordination regarding budget management
- Prepare requests for a forced agreement and the WSNP
- Attend court hearings in the context of a forced agreement or WSNP
- Apply crisis intervention, for example in case of impending eviction or disconnection of water or energy
- Refer to other instances when necessary, such as social work, and monitor the further process
- Calculate the Free to Spend Amount (VTLB)
- Handle files of residents affected by the benefits scandal for whom debt assistance needs to be initiated
- Coordinate with the team responsible for broad support to victims of the benefits scandal, to ensure consistent support
- Implement the additional debt assistance offer for young people as part of the benefits recovery operation

Eisen
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience independently managing a caseload (intake phase/debt settlement)
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a debt counselor at a government organization
- Demonstrable work experience in conducting advisory and intake interviews, analyzing debt situations, and preparing action plans and/or reports
Wensen
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a debt counselor within a government organization
- Demonstrable work experience with crisis intervention in debt assistance, including handling impending evictions and/or disconnection of water or energy
- Demonstrable work experience with the Allegro system
