Site Manager

• Ensure a smooth and safe progress of projects.
• Prepare short-term schedules and daily worker planning.
• Complete work assignments on time.
• Proactively manage own teams and subcontractors.
• Detect and resolve backlogs.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Close collaboration with project management for optimal site staffing.
• Align with current needs.
• Initiate and support improvement processes.
• Work focused on increasing efficiency and quality.
• Immediately report unsafe situations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Efficiently manage outstanding site issues.
• Act as a central point of contact for teams, architects, and clients.
• Work closely with subcontractors and associated contractors.
• Ensure a structured and organized operation.

What they ask

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a main contractor.
• Familiarity with programs such as Aproplan, Office (Word, AutoCAD), and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Works autonomously and communicates effectively with various parties.
• Strong technical insight to maintain an accurate overview of schedules.
• Proactive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.
• Strong drive to achieve results and goals.
• Able to manage tight deadlines and be flexible with changing priorities.
• Good knowledge of Dutch.
• Vocational secondary education (BSO) or equivalent.

• The assignment is for a fixed term of 2 years.
• Consultancy basis is also possible.
