In this role, you ensure efficient and safe processes for salt production. You identify malfunctions and respond adequately to ensure the continuity of the process and to guarantee the quality and safety of the plant. The work is diverse and varied; you monitor processes from behind the control panel and perform rounds outside to keep a close eye on everything.
Part of the good housekeeping activities in the plant and around the conveyor belts are also carried out by the operators to ensure the continuity of the production and loading process.
What you will do.
- As an operator, you will go on-site to inspect and control the processes.
- You secure installations according to the LoToTo principle, evaluate work permits, and clear work areas.
- You assess impending or actual technical malfunctions and take appropriate actions based on the rule: safety first.
- You support the maintenance and engineering departments in setting up and executing improvement projects.
- As a Senior operator, you mentor apprentices, interns, and 2nd and 3rd operators in performing their tasks smoothly and safely.
Profile
- Experience gained at a (chemical) production company, both in the control room and on the factory floor.
- MBO Process Technology, VAPRO B, operator C or AOT with a willingness for additional training in chemistry or energy.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English is a must.
- You are a true team player and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- You come up with ideas, are risk-aware, disciplined, and always striving for more quality.
- You do not shy away from physical work.
