Functional Tester Business Analyst

Reinforcement of a team responsible for applications dedicated to the dematerialization of urban planning and environmental permits.

• The mission focuses on the functional validation of evolutions, integrations, and application refactoring.
• Involvement from understanding needs to validating production releases.
• Close collaboration with business users, analysts, developers, and project managers.
• The assignment also includes an automated testing dimension, which will be progressively developed, even if most activities currently focus on manual testing and functional validation.

What you will do.

• Quickly understand the business and processes related to the management of urban planning and environmental permits.
• Analyze functional needs, evolution requests, and specifications.
• Ensure the preparation, execution, and monitoring of test activities.
• Guarantee the conformity of developed solutions with business requirements.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of needs and encountered anomalies.
• Participate in delivery validation and continuous improvement of quality processes.
• Progressively contribute to the implementation of a test automation strategy.
• Ensure test traceability and the overall quality of applications put into production.
• Design, document, and maintain test scenarios and test cases.
• Prepare the necessary data sets for test campaigns.
• Verify the correct implementation of functional requirements and specifications.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests.
• Identify, document, and track anomalies until their resolution.
• Use Jira for defect tracking and quality activities.
• Collaborate with analysts, development teams, and business representatives.
• Participate in delivery validation activities.
• Test APIs and webservices using tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and quality practices.
• Participate in the setup and maintenance of automated tests using Playwright.

What they ask Testing & Quality.

• Senior experience as a tester in IT projects.
• Mastery of functional, regression, and integration tests.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and standards such as ISTQB and/or TMap.
• Experience in test automation.
• Experience or knowledge of API and webservice testing (SOAP, REST, etc.).
• Experience with Playwright.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain test cases.
• Ability to ensure test traceability and anomaly tracking.

Business Analysis.

• Understanding and analysis of user needs.
• Analysis of functional specifications and evolution requests.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex business processes.
• Knowledge or experience in the field of urban planning and environmental permit management.
