As a care assistant IG, you believe in paying attention to every resident. You see residents as they are: unique, valuable, and with their own wishes and needs. With your care and attention, you contribute to their quality of life. You think in possibilities, look with your colleagues at what is feasible, and ensure that residents feel heard and seen. You will work at one of the large locations of a care organization where small-scale, individualized care is provided.
In a specific department, 40 residents live, of whom 32 residents have Gerontopsychiatry and 8 residents have somatic conditions. This concerns 32 residents aged 40 and over who are dependent on chronic psychiatric nursing home care (CPV).
What you will do.
- You are a familiar face to the residents and help them with daily activities.
- You support and guide (part of) personal care and ensure a pleasant, safe atmosphere.
- You always prioritize the resident's care wishes and needs.
- You identify bottlenecks and discuss them with your colleagues – together you look for solutions, such as arranging extra support.
Profile
- You have a care assistant IG diploma at mbo3 level or higher.
- You are vaccinated against Hepatitis B or are willing to be.
