An organization is looking for a senior. NET/Azure Developer to strengthen a team responsible for the backend of an internal identity orchestration platform, with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM). You will maintain and further develop existing. NET components and contribute to the transition to a modern, cloud-native architecture on Azure. You will participate in IAM-related developments, API security, and new Azure-based modules.
What you will do.
- Support and further develop the internal identity orchestration platform, including analysis, development, maintenance, and follow-up.
- Help migrate existing.NET components to a cloud-native target architecture on Azure, identifying reusable components and translating functional needs into maintainable, cloud-ready solutions.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Azure components such as Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault, integrated with REST services and identity providers.
- Support IAM-related development topics such as user provisioning, API security, token conversion with user context, and changes within identity governance (IGA).
- Follow up on IAM-related incidents and support vulnerability management.
- Apply expertise in IAM and security engineering to support secure user management, access control, and API integrations.
- Maintain and implement solutions within agreed timing and quality standards.
- Perform component and integration tests.
- Document implementations and changes.
- Support analysts and designers in translating functional specifications into technical solutions.
- Provide 3rd-line support.
- Monitor technical evolutions and conduct independent research, with support from an application architect.
- Understand the technical architecture and reuse existing technical components.
- Assist with planned production deployments outside office hours.
Profile
- Developer with demonstrable relevant experience.
- Significant experience with.NET back-end/back-office development.
- Broad IT knowledge and interest in various IT domains.
- Strong planning skills; you dare to question the current AS-IS situation and are results-oriented.
- Accurate, structured, solution-oriented, communicative, and a true team player.
- Hands-on mentality, an eye for quality, and initiative to optimize development processes.
- Comfortable working in distributed, international teams.
- Able to work independently within a complex application environment and ensure continuity.
What they ask -. NET/C# back-end development.
- Azure development and development of cloud-based services, including Azure Functions and cloud-native services (Azure experience is required).
- SQL – relational database design with stored procedures and functions (T-SQL) (SQL is required).
- REST APIs – designing, building, and using RESTful services (JSON).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of secure cloud development principles, including Azure Key Vault.
- Source control with Git.
- Experience with Agile and a DevOps culture.
- Analysis, design, development, and implementation of custom object-oriented applications.
- Dutch: very good knowledge, both oral and written.
- English: very good knowledge, both oral and written.
Preferences.
- SCIM - experience with SCIM-based user provisioning.
- OIDC / OAuth – experience with modern authentication and authorization protocols.
- Knowledge of IAM concepts such as identity governance (IGA), user provisioning, and token conversion with user context.
- Experience with or interest in Keycloak (or other identity providers), Open Policy Agent, and fine-grained access control.
- Experience with IAM-related development or maintenance within a secure customer or partner portal environment.
- Certificates: AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals, AZ-204 – Azure Developer Associate.
