The Project Manager is responsible for the correct, timely, budget-friendly, and quality construction and installation of heavily shielded spaces/installations (hot cells) where radioactive materials can be handled. He/she maintains an overview and directs various parties.

- Follow the project from A to Z, from design and production to installation and delivery.
- Distribute work and closely monitor planning and progress.
- Coordinate internal staff, suppliers, contractors, and other external parties.
- Verify that work meets the required quality standards.
- Follow up on and resolve problems, deviations, and changes.
- Monitor costs and budget together with the Project Controller.
- Draft or check technical specifications.
- Technically follow up on tenders and supplier selections.
- Help resolve technical problems during the project.
- Report monthly on the status.
- Take action and ensure issues are effectively resolved.
Wat ze vragen
- Electromechanical Engineer.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading technical projects.
- Experience in monitoring engineering, construction, and installation.
- Strict execution according to PMQP.
- Attention to quality, including change and non-conformity management.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately once every two months for 1 to 2 days for inspections.
- Experience in the nuclear sector is a significant plus, but not a requirement.
