Your role. As a Contract Manager, you support other contract managers in the contractual management of complex infrastructure contracts. You are involved in communication with contractors, review and acceptance processes, changes, audits, stakeholder management, and reporting. You work closely with internal teams, contract managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure correct, transparent, and integral execution of contracts.
Responsibilities.
- Handling and coordinating contractual communication before, during, and after the execution of works.
- Co-coordinating and following up on review and acceptance processes within System-Oriented Contract Management.
- Co-organizing and following up on system, process, and product audits.
- Assessing whether the contractor's quality assurance system meets contractual and organizational requirements.
- Supporting the entire contractual change process, from change request to final decision-making.
- Coordinating and guiding changes within the organization and towards the contractor.
- Critically assessing and negotiating potential changes, with attention to the client's contractual interests.
- Keeping the change overview up-to-date and proactively reporting on it.
- Ensuring that stakeholder requirements are correctly translated into contracts and agreements.
- Contributing to progress reports and timely signaling potential problems.
- Proactively proposing solutions for contractual and operational challenges.
- Actively participating in consultations between contract managers to ensure a uniform approach and working method.
Profile
We are looking for a medior Contract Manager with experience within an infrastructure or civil engineering environment. You are analytical, strong in communication, and able to bring together different interests in a professional and integral manner. You take responsibility, work independently where necessary, and actively seek collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
