What you do
As an asset manager, you are central to the management of the real estate portfolio. You ensure that properties are optimally exploited, coordinate maintenance, and accurately manage contracts. You collaborate closely with acquirers in the regional team to realize new stores, expansions, and relocations. Additionally, you will have extensive contact with the Construction department and other internal stakeholders.
You will join a dynamic Construction & Real Estate team, where a good atmosphere and collaboration are crucial. Decision-making lines are short, and contact with management is accessible.
- Responsible for commercial portfolio management and optimal exploitation.
- Coordinates technical management of owned properties.
- Monitors contract expiration dates and proactively identifies opportunities for redevelopment or divestment.
- Controls vacancy management and ensures the sale or rental of non-strategic real estate.
- Engages real estate agents and co-negotiates sales or rentals, in line with the real estate strategy.
- Monitors and optimizes the service costs of the portfolio.
What they ask
- Completed HBO or university education in Real Estate & Brokerage, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or similar.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in real estate management, property management, or asset management.
- Specialized knowledge of spatial planning and the new Environmental Act (Omgevingswet).
- Demonstrable experience in drafting and evaluating real estate contracts (both purchase and lease).
- Proactivity and analytical skills to identify and prioritize necessary actions in the real estate portfolio.
- Skilled networker who uses ambition to creatively solve housing-related bottlenecks.
- Experience in the retail sector is a plus.
