Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst within the Purchasing & Facility department, you help teams work data-driven and continuously improve processes. You deal with various issues within purchasing, logistics, and facility management. This includes optimizing inventory management and delivery processes, analyzing purchasing expenditures, improving goods flows within the organization, and making the performance of facility services transparent.

What you will do.

  • Collecting and analyzing data from various sub-systems
  • Developing Power BI reports and data models
  • Setting up KPIs and quality metrics
  • Identifying areas for improvement and advising management on decisions to be made
  • Identifying opportunities in the field of AI, data, and automation and translating these into concrete improvement proposals for the organization

Work environment. The business analysts of the Purchasing & Facility department work from the Staff Office team. In this team, you collaborate with other colleagues such as project managers and a staff advisor on contract management. They provide support to various sectors within the Purchasing & Facility department. You will work closely with your direct Business Analyst colleague.

Together you form a strong analysis team within a healthcare organization that has designated data-driven work as one of the pillars of its strategy. As a result, you maintain intensive contact with other business analysts within the healthcare organization and regularly collaborate with the central Data & Analytics department. The Staff Office consists of a team of eight colleagues. The manager of the Staff Office is your direct supervisor.

Profile

As a Business Analyst, you are a team player, results-oriented, have a proactive mentality, and are a strong communicator. In addition, you are able to (re)cognize the business processes within Purchasing & Facility or quickly master them in a short time and:

  • You have a completed HBO or WO education, preferably in IT or business administration
  • You have excellent analytical skills
  • You are proficient in SQL and Power BI (experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and cloud-based data and analysis solutions is a plus)
  • You have knowledge of Oracle EBS or experience with other complex ERP systems
  • You have at least two years of relevant work experience in a similar position
