Valve Overhaul Technician
The focus is on disassembling, overhauling, repairing, and assembling sanitary and industrial valves. You will work both on-site at the client's location and in a workshop. This is not serial work, but always involves different types, brands, and technical challenges. You will join a small, collegial SME with short communication lines and work with an experienced team of technicians and employees. The job is varied and offers a lot of autonomy and responsibility, with direct contact with clients.
There is the possibility to expand the task package with heat exchangers and to further develop your technical knowledge in a collegial and no-nonsense work environment.
What you do
- Disassembly and assembly of various types of valves, brand-independent
- Overhaul and maintenance of, among others:
- butterfly valves
- check valves
- globe valves
- ball valves
- control valves
- bottom valves
- Replacement of seals, gaskets, and other wear parts
- Inspection of parts and assessment of wear or damage
- Performing repairs at the client's site or in the workshop
- General mechanical work
- Consultation with the client on findings and possible corrective measures
- Participation in technical interventions and projects on-site
- Working on valves from various brands such as Pentair-Südmo, Alfa Laval, SPX/APV, GEATuchenhagen, Hilge, Fristam, Waukesha, End Armaturen

Profile
- Education:
- Equivalent through experience
- Vocational secondary education - 3rd degree: Electromechanics and energy
- Professional bachelor: Electromechanics and energy
- Languages: Dutch (Good)
Practical
- Fair compensation based on knowledge and experience
- Work primarily in Belgium
- Possibility to work in France in the long term
