Property Administrator
A young and ambitious real estate investor and asset manager has built 14 real estate funds in seven years and continues to grow. Investments are made in pre-war and monumental residential portfolios. After acquisition, the real estate is optimized, renovated, and made more sustainable to increase quality and value. The organization is compact with short lines of communication, a lot of responsibility, and a strong focus on tenants and real estate.
The work environment is informal and entrepreneurial with short lines of communication and ample room for personal initiative. What you will do. You will take responsibility for the rental administration and help professionalize it further. You will ensure that tenant, contract, and property data are reliable and up-to-date. You will monitor agreements, identify discrepancies, and ensure that important deadlines are not missed. Your activities include:
- Managing and processing rental contracts, mutations, and extensions.
- Preparing and processing rent indexations and rent increases.
- Checking rental prices, invoicing, and service costs.
- Monitoring expirations and vacancies.
- Processing and checking tenant and property data.
- Maintaining contact with tenants.
- Preparing reports.
- Supporting financial administration.
- Supporting commercial management with rentals and lease renewals.
- Contributing ideas for smarter organization and automation of processes.
Profile
The ideal candidate is accurate and curious, enjoys working with figures and systems, and easily connects with people. You:
- Have HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in real estate, finance, business administration, or administration. Relevant work experience is considered at least as important.
- Are curious and want to understand how real estate and the organization work.
- Have an affinity with real estate, administration, and software.
- Enjoy working with figures, data, and systems and quickly find your way around them.
- Work accurately, but do not lose sight of the bigger picture.
- Notice when something is incorrect and are not afraid to ask questions about it.
- Get energy from structuring and making processes smarter.
- Communicate easily and enjoy having contact with tenants, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Take responsibility and do not always wait for someone to tell you what to do.
- Are practically oriented: you see something, think about it, and get to work.
- Have a commercial perspective and understand that good administration contributes to good property management and returns.
- Experience within real estate is a plus, but not a requirement.
