Temporary reinforcement of a communication team within a government organization.
- Broadly deployable on various organization-wide and societal issues.
What you will do.
- Advise on issues related to service provision, business operations, finance, and developments in villages and neighborhoods, liveability, sports, and participation.
- Structure complex communication issues and make visible what is happening.
- Translate analyses into a clear communication strategy and a concrete approach.
- Seamlessly switch between strategic advice and practical implementation.
- Ensure that proposed communication approaches are actually executed.
- Assess when communication suffices and when participation is needed; bring different interests together.
- Strengthen communication around developments within business operations.
- Develop and implement a communication approach for a vision on service provision.
- Contribute to a process-oriented work project: sharpen communication strategy, advise on approach and implementation.
- Address additional communication issues depending on current organizational needs.
Profile
- Strong discussion partner for policy advisors, project leaders, and administrators.
- Eye for internal dynamics and the impact of developments on residents, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.
- Analytical and environmentally sensitive, but also pragmatic.
- Knows when direction is needed and gets people moving.
What they ask
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in the communication field.
- Minimum demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) degree in communication.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with communication and participation in area development.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience working for a government and administrative sensitivity.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
- Agrees with the stated secondment conditions.
Preferences.
- Several years of experience with a government organization.
- Flexible availability regarding working hours and days, including evenings and weekends where necessary.
- Broad experience with collaboration partners, both profit and non-profit.
- Knowledge of the local context and a strong professional network in the region.
