A special education school is looking for an internal supervisor.
- The school offers special education to children with severe learning difficulties aged 4 to 12, in a safe, pleasant, and structured environment.
- Much attention is paid to social self-reliance, independence, and social skills, with learning through doing and experiencing taking a central role.
What you will do.
- You will contribute your expertise to the guidance committee.
- You will support and guide teachers in drafting and implementing Individual Development Plans (OPPs), group collaboration, classroom management, active direct instruction model, learning to learn, and continuous learning pathways.
- You will monitor and safeguard learning processes, the use of methods, and analyze learning outcomes.
- You will coordinate and collaborate effectively within a dynamic and diverse team and with external parties.
- You will take a leading role when necessary.
Profile
- PABO diploma and a completed internal supervisor training (a plus) or willingness to follow an IB training.
- Several years of experience in (special) education.
- Affinity with the ZML target group (children with severe learning difficulties) and passion for the profession.
- A flexible, enthusiastic, driven, and proactive attitude.
- A professional attitude within and outside the team and openness to different insights.
- Experience as a domestic violence and child abuse focal point is a plus.
Practical aspects.
- One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position upon good performance.
- In addition to your role as an internal supervisor, you will be a teacher for a group 1 or 2 days a week.
- Employment conditions in accordance with the primary education collective labor agreement (CAO PO), classification in scale LC.
- You will join a diverse and collegial team with ample development opportunities.
- You will contribute to the growth and development of students with specific support needs.
