You are an experienced functional application manager with knowledge of Oracle EBS and contribute to reliable business operations. You ensure a stable and well-functioning application environment, translate user and system owner requirements into practical solutions, handle incidents and change requests, and contribute to the further development of Oracle EBS and associated applications.
What you will do.
- Point of contact for users and system owners regarding questions, incidents, and changes related to Oracle EBS and various peripheral applications.
- Analyze reports and brainstorm appropriate solutions.
- Ensure that changes are carefully tested, documented, and implemented.
- Monitor the operation of applications and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the further development of the application environment, including future developments such as the SaaS trajectory.
Key tasks.
- Perform functional application management for Oracle EBS and various peripheral applications.
- Handle and analyze incidents, reports, and user questions.
- Process and guide change requests.
- Provide second and third-line support for functional application problems.
- Translate user requirements into appropriate functional solutions.
- Test changes, new functionalities, and releases.
- Prepare and keep documentation up-to-date, such as functional descriptions, test plans, work instructions, manuals, and procedures.
- Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities in the application environment.
- Support the implementation and rollout of new functionalities or modules.
- Coordinate with users, Solution Consultants, and other IT teams.
- Maintain contact with suppliers for reports and functional issues.
- Contribute to projects and future developments.
- Experience with financial and/or HR processes and guiding the transfer of projects to management is a plus.
