IT Helpdesk Employee

You will become an IT Helpdesk Employee at the service desk of a national government organization. You play an important role in quickly and effectively helping customers, including personnel on missions and colleagues in the office, with the mission of "ensuring a safe country". The activities are carried out within the service desk of the IT Continuity Center department, which is organizationally part of an information provision command, falling under a material & IT command.

What you do

  • First point of contact via phone and email for simple ICT-related questions and disruptions.
  • Accurate registration of all activities.
  • Provide 24/7 user support.
  • Handle 1st and 2nd line incidents, aiming for direct resolution in one call.
  • Intake of IT needs, assessing completeness, clarity, and authorization.
  • Set up the administration of all IT needs.
  • Monitoring and registration of the progress of all information provision needs across the entire chain, including communication to the requester.
  • Monitoring and registration of complaints, including communication to the customer.

What they ask

  • Minimum MBO 3 diploma in an Informatics, Computer Technology, or Telecommunications related field.
  • Customer-friendly and customer-oriented.
  • Accurate.
  • Stress-resistant.
  • Communicatively skilled and excellent command of the Dutch language.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Affinity with ICT and a desire to grow.

Wishes.

  • ITIL and/or Microsoft certificates are a plus.
