The Medical Information Management (MIM) department plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of digital information provision within a military healthcare organization. This organization is complex, dynamic, and meaningful, and important for delivering good and continuous care. MIM consists of four sections: information and data management, functional management & support, information security & privacy protection, and project & portfolio management.
Together, they implement an integrated information provision for the military medical chain, optimally supporting the registration, exchange, and analysis of data. The functional management & support (FBO) section is responsible for the operational support of the military healthcare information systems. This includes operational support for handling needs and maintaining generic IT/IV facilities, as well as the development and functional management of business-critical applications.
What you will do.
- Functionally manage and improve the information system for occupational health services, corporate medicine, and insurance medicine.
- Act as the first point of contact for user questions, incidents, and change requests regarding the information system.
- Guide professionals in using the information system correctly and translate user wishes into concrete adjustments or improvements.
- Support projects in setting up, testing, and implementing new functionalities and functional extensions.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, with at least a completed MBO (secondary vocational education) degree, preferably in healthcare, ICT, or information management.
- Current knowledge and several years of experience as a functional manager or application manager.
- Knowledge and experience within occupational health services or insurance medicine or with the Xpert Suite information system is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of BiSL, ITIL, or other management standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Affinity with the context of a government organization.
Practical
- Dutch nationality is required.
