What you do
- You are responsible for the information security and privacy of the organization.
- You develop and maintain policies and ensure their application throughout the organization.
- The core of your role is to maintain and operate the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- You monitor the complete PDCA cycle: from current goals and policies to implementation, monitoring, and adjustment, ensuring systems, services, and data remain well-secured.
- You advise the management on risks and developments.
- You collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, external parties, and relevant authorities.
- You assess risks of new SaaS applications, contribute ideas for appropriate security measures, and translate technical issues into clear organizational choices.
- You update information security policies, prepare management reports, or discuss the outcomes of risk analyses.
- You coordinate with suppliers or colleagues from the IBP team on current developments.
- You update improvement actions in the ISMS.
What they ask
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) working and thinking level.
- Demonstrable experience as a (C)ISO, security officer, or in a similar GRC role.
- Preference for CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or an equivalent certification.
- Demonstrable experience with setting up, maintaining, and demonstrably operating an ISMS and the PDCA cycle.
- Experience with risk management and translating risks into concrete measures.
- Experience with supplier and chain risk management, suitable for a SaaS-driven organization.
- Experience with incident management and coordinating response.
